Course Outline

Module 1 – Mentoring Basics

This micro-learning program will provide you with the fundamentals behind the important role of being an effective mentor. It explores the roles and relationships of those involved, the stages of the mentoring relationship, the mentoring plan and its use as well as the role effective communication plays. It concludes with an action plan to get you started with your mentee.

Module 2 – Becoming a Mentee

This micro-learning program will provide you with the fundamentals behind the important role of being a good mentee and how to get the best out of the mentoring experience. It explores the importance of identifying and setting goals, what happens during the mentoring relationship, the role effective communication plays and how to ensure you stay on track. It concludes with an action plan to get you started with your mentor.

Module 3 – Considering the Generation of your Mentee

This micro-learning program will provide you with the fundamentals of understanding the different generations to ensure a suitable approach is taken to the mentoring relationship.
